Tucked away in between Voss and Highway 6, on the outskirts of Houston, you’ll find this isolated Cullinan Park. It’s quite interesting and has a peaceful ambience. Despite being close to the airport, it’s so quiet and serene, makes you feel completely out of the Houston metropolitan area.

This Saturday, we were on our way to Sugar Land and decided to make a stop and check this place out. We have driven past this park quite a number of times but never planned on exploring it. It has a trail to walk and a pond side. We didn’t hit up the trail but were mostly near the pond side. It looks amazing from the top of the wooden tower building. It was all covered with Lotus pads and looked so unperturbed. This park is also known for bird watching and fishing. Alligators are said to be found here as well but we didn’t spot one. Maybe because we were there for 10- 15 minutes. This park is safe now but it used to be a place for shady characters and addicts, so we didn’t stay long. the place is beautiful though..
Dawn and dusk would be the best time for photography.
